About Us

Vardi House is a beautiful historical structure from the early 20th century that underwent a complete renovation and now offers 24 new vacation units. The building is located in the center of Tiberias, just 5 minutes away from the Sea of Galilee.
The building was constructed by Yaakov Eliyahu Mizrahi Vardi, who immigrated to Israel from Iraq in 1910 with his mother and brother. He settled in Tiberias and began working in trade. Yaakov played an active role in the city’s Jewish community while engaging in the trading of grain, cars, and tires. He received a concession from the British government to operate the Tiberias-Yavne’el passenger line and operated the first bus for the benefit of the local residents.
He built his family home between 1927 and 1932, making it one of the oldest buildings in Tiberias.
Today, after a comprehensive renovation, the building has been carefully preserved to maintain the spirit of the era in which it was built. Various elements, such as ornamental floors and restored antique iron railing, were specifically chosen to complement the design.
The three-story building houses 24 vacation units that provide all the necessary amenities for a comfortable and independent stay in an excellent location. Each unit includes air conditioning, a double bed, a kitchenette, a bathroom, and a shower. Some units offer views of the city and the Sea of Galilee.
At the rear of the building, there is a private garden with scattered benches and evening lighting, where guests can relax and unwind during the day.
This is an excellent location as a base for trips in the Galilee region and the Jordan River, as well as visits to cities like Safed and Nazareth.
